The goal of the project was clear. To create a mobile app that offers customers a seamless and intuitive shopping experience while incorporating a rewards system to incentivize loyalty.
NUG embarked on a journey to develop a mobile app that would streamline the purchasing process and reward customer loyalty.

My design process began with a thorough exploration of the customer shopping experience. Through secondary research and discussions with the client.

Challenges:
Compliance with regulatory requirements in the cannabis industry.
Designing a user interface that is intuitive and accessible while adhering to legal restrictions.
Balancing the need for robust security measures with a seamless user experience.

The design phase was marked by iterative refinement, starting with shaping user flows and feature touchpoints. Visualizing key screens through mood boards allowed for early exploration of design aesthetics.
With design freedom granted by the client's lack of brand guidelines, a UI aesthetic was developed that complemented NUG as a business brand.
A feedback loop was integrated into the workflow, ensuring alignment with the client on user flows and customer experience. This collaborative approach fostered efficient progress and ultimately led to a design solution that met both client expectations and user needs
